Rathi was born and raised in Mumbai, India started dancing at the age of 15 alongside pursuing her career in Visual Arts. She moved to New York in 2018 to pursue dance at Peridance Center and has since then performed with various choreographers including Anabella Lenzu, Matthew Westerby, Apollonia Hozier and, Dina Denis. Apart from being a company member with Treehouse Shakers and Time Lapse Dance, Rathi is a Teaching Artist with Arts For All. Her work Table for Two, Imperfect, What Will be, Will be, Dear Bread and Sole Searching was presented at Spoke The Hub, Flushing Town Hall, BAAD (Bronx Academy of Arts and Dance), Arts on Site, Green Space and Balance Arts Centre.
